At the lovley town of West Kirby on the edge of the Wirral peninsua there is a Marine lake that provides a nice 1 mile walk with excellent views of the north wales coast all the way to the Point of Ayr Lighthouse
At VERY high tides the incoming tide breaches the lakes retaining wall and spills over into the lake.
