Location Scouting at Ullswater

Fairly short walk this one, less than 1km from the car park at Aira Force. I'm not so sure i will feel the same way when i go up in the dark for the sunrise though. it was a bit rocky and slippery uderfoot thenks to the light rain that was hanging around. i shouldn't complain though. the conditions looked amazing and the rain even stopped long enough to eat a sandwich.

Here's the route from the car park to Memorial Seat fro the view and there a great big boulder that might as well have a sign on it saying 'put you tripod here'

i'm thinking september time, mabe a little less green around and the morning sun will shine right down the lake iluminating those fells. it could well work for a sunset too at this time of year the sin is off to the right but theres just too much GREEN.

Afterwards we thougt it would be rude not to go and see the waterfall, what with all the rain and all it should be looking quite good.
